Author Guidelines

Authors who wish to submit manuscripts to Rumah Medik must follow the journal’s author guidelines and manuscript template. Manuscripts that do not follow the required format may be returned to authors before review.

General Requirements

  • The manuscript must be original and has not been published or submitted to another journal.
  • The manuscript must be relevant to the focus and scope of Rumah Medik.
  • The manuscript must be written clearly and systematically.
  • The manuscript must follow the journal template.
  • All references must be cited properly and completely.
  • Where available, DOI numbers should be included in the reference list.

Manuscript Structure

The manuscript should generally include the following sections:

  1. Title
  2. Author names and affiliations
  3. Abstract
  4. Keywords
  5. Introduction
  6. Methods
  7. Results and Discussion
  8. Conclusion
  9. Acknowledgment, if any
  10. References

Title

The title should be clear, concise, specific, and informative. It should reflect the main issue, research objective, or key finding of the manuscript.

Author Names and Affiliations

Author names must be written without academic titles. Each author should include a clear institutional affiliation. The corresponding author must be clearly indicated and must provide an active email address.

Abstract and Keywords

The abstract should briefly summarize the background, objective, methods, results, and conclusion of the study. The abstract should not contain citations, tables, figures, or uncommon abbreviations.

Keywords should represent the main content of the article and help indexing and searching. Keywords should be separated by semicolons.

Introduction

The introduction should explain the background of the study, relevant literature, research gap, novelty, and objective of the research.

Methods

The methods section should explain the research design, setting, subjects or participants, sampling method, instruments, data collection procedures, data analysis, and ethical approval where applicable.

Results and Discussion

The results should present the main findings clearly and concisely. The discussion should interpret the findings, compare them with previous studies, explain their significance, and discuss implications for medical or health science practice.

Conclusion

The conclusion should answer the research objective and highlight the main contribution of the study. Authors may include recommendations for practice or further research.

References

Authors must cite relevant and reliable sources. References should be accurate and complete. Authors are encouraged to use reference manager software such as Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote.

Submission

Manuscripts must be submitted through the journal’s online submission system. Authors are required to complete all metadata correctly during submission.
