Focus and Scope
Ruang Medik is a scientific journal that publishes research articles, literature reviews, and scientific studies in the broad field of health sciences. The journal covers various disciplines including public health, occupational health and safety, epidemiology, nursing, midwifery, medicine, pharmacy, nutrition, psychology, health technology, medical laboratory science, health information systems, health law, hospital management, health economics, health policy, environmental health, and other related health sciences. The journal welcomes manuscripts written in Bahasa Indonesia or English that contribute to the advancement of health sciences and practices.
Peer Review Process
Every manuscript submitted to Ruang Medik undergoes an initial screening process conducted by the Editorial Board to assess its suitability with the journal scope, writing guidelines, and publication standards. Manuscripts that pass the initial evaluation are forwarded to reviewers through a Double-Blind Peer Review process, where neither authors nor reviewers know each other’s identities.
The review process evaluates manuscripts based on scientific quality, originality, methodological rigor, relevance, and contribution to health sciences. Authors may be requested to revise their manuscripts according to reviewers’ comments and editorial recommendations. The review process generally takes approximately one month, depending on reviewer availability and revision requirements.
Reviewers collaborating with Ruang Medik consist of experts, researchers, academics, and practitioners from various health disciplines with experience in scientific publication and journal management at national and international levels.
